      While I have no intention of rating every book my son and I read before bed, this one deserved a mention. It's a board book for toddlers that doesn't dumb it down - there are no songs, no rhymes, and no cutesy names for the dinosaurs. If mom or dad get tongue tied by Argentinosaurus, so be it.What's more, check out page 14 if you get a chance - yes, that's a very dead looking fish in the Plesiosaur's mouth . . . and, yes, that's a real cloud of blood floating away in the water.       I think because I do not at all enjoy dinosaurs that had a lot to do with why I didn’t like this book. HONESTLY I hope my little cousin doesn’t get into dinosaurs because I don’t think I can take learning about them all the time. They just don’t hold any interest to me. Other than that I thought the book sounded choppy when read aloud. Which started to get on my nerves. The pictures were amazing and colorful they really brought these pages alive.
