This is the third book I have read in the Sanctum series and it is another exciting read. I really think this series would make a great TV or film series. The book grips you early and keeps going at a fast pace as did the others. The group of friends have further enemies to confront as the Sanctum is threatened by an unknown enemy. Throughout the series I have particularly liked the idea of surrogates, which always keeps the story fresh as you can never be quite sure who is real and who is a sur [...]

I've now read all three of the Sanctum books and have enjoyed each one. This one, Taylor's Plight, is definitely my favorite. The book starts out at a gripping pace pulling us right back into the action of the previous novels. Although the kids are essentially the same, Cope does well to show their collective maturation in response to the seriousness of the Sanctum's core mission: to use humanoid robots (Surrogates as they're called in the series), to fight terrorism. I'm most impressed with Cop [...]

Read this one first as received beta read from author.I was thoroughly hooked,so much so ,read in two days.Thoroughly enjoyable read.Characters very well written and a good story.Have now got first two and I am a third of the way through the first(Jayden and the mysterious mountain).I am hoping to get a better insight into all characters by going back the way, utterly absorbing.

Taylor's Plight is the third book in The Sanctum series of pre-teen adventure novels by Katrina Cope. Once again Jayden, Eva, Robert and Aaron are attempting to stop terrorism by using 'surrogates' - robots they can control remotely that appear to be human. This installment starts with a bang (quite literally) and just keeps going. The previous two books took a little while to lay the groundwork for both characters and plot but there is no need to do that here, especially as the story continues e [...]

The fact that the kids are maturing from one installment to the other in the series is handled admirably by the deft, and often subtle changes in the language they use, their spinal cord reflexes to tense situations, and numerous other hints the author provides us.As with the other novels, the action is high-octane, but there is also a nice variety in the kinds of scenes we’re served up, with kids being kids one moment, and in the next, neck deep in one tense situation or another. The series c [...]

The third book of the Sanctum Series, "Taylor's Plight" begins with a fast-paced scene and continues at an engaging pace the entire novel. True to the style of the series, Cope highlights a few characters in the novel (Taylor, Scarlet) without neglecting the other characters. Taylor is a character I that enjoyed getting to know more about, even though I often root against him! I also enjoyed seeing a lot more of Scarlet, being she is one of my favorite characters. There is a lot more action in ' [...]

I liked how the plot intensified during this third book in the series. Without giving away anything, I flipped through the pages a little more quickly than I usually do in attempt to find the resolution. I have to admit that my favorite character is Scarlet, and then of course, Jayden. I love their chemistry. I also love the way Scarlet has developed throughout the series. Despite being a computer, she had a huge personality and is playful, which I really enjoy. Despite my playing favorites, the [...]

I chose to give this ebook"Taylor's Plight" five stars for such a nifty, sweet and yet for a few of the characters were notso so kind, and caring towards the others where the bully lived and a professor who turned from being a very kind and thoughtful professor, a geek in electronics, etc. had turned evil! I recommend this ebook for especially the youth but even some grownups may enjoy this fun and great mystery! I received this ebook for free in exchange for my doing reviews, Great work Katrina! I received a copy of this book for Beta reading so I am writing this review on the ground that the book has been re edited. On amazon I gave 4 stars, but the ratings are different here. 3.5 would be more accurate. It follows on from the previous 2 books, and I think it needs the background of those to be fully understood. It is fun adventure with mystery, intrigue and technology. I am sure that young readers will enjoy the story as it unfolds and the relationships that begin to grow between the tee [...]
