It was a fun, quick, easy read. I haven't read a "gothic" romance in years so it was a fun return to the genre. It was a little suspenseful, so I did want to find out what happened. Moves me forward in my goal of reading the books that have been on our shelves for years.

This is an old book, but still quite enjoyable. The writing did not feel dated, but it is a 'gothic' type of read.

It was like an episode of "Murder, She Wrote"!
