(24) I would like to thank San miguel Allende Books for providing me with a copy of this book!I found this book to be very slow at the beginning, but once the mystery started it picked up. However, I found the ending to be too rushed. It was very believable and very well written. This book was a medium read, as I read it in about 3 days!I would recommend it to any horse and mystery lovers!

      I appreciate a good ‘who done it,” but this book took a little too long to get into the mystery. I think the author did a good job developing the characters and I got a decent sense of the setting. I think it got a little bogged down in that set up though, with too many characters (suspects) to describe. I was also a little confused as to whose story was being told. The author switched between the main characters as narrators and I felt myself going back and forth to see who was speaking, wh [...]

      An enjoyable book. This is the first one in the series that I have read. It makes me want to go back and read the others to get better acquainted with the main characters.
