“The Ishtar Cup” is book one in the planned PI series, and it’s more than a promising beginning! I came across the Ishtar Cup because I read 2 of the authors book from a different series and was instantly drawn into his great story telling and writing skills. Though I loved the characters from the other series, I have to say it was fun to experience some new characters revolving around an entirely new story line. I mean who doesn't love a good mystery with a detective bent on finding answers. The story is smart with lots of twists and turns [...]

Private detective is hired by a beautiful blond to track some of her partners in a pact to purchase a antique gold cup supposedly from a middle east museum. The client wants to come along on the tracking and witness the murder of the first partner and things go down hill from there. I am afraid I was not particularly taken with characters or the style of writing in this one.

An Indiana Jone's style adventure filled with suspense and thrilling surprises. Fantastic writing and brilliant character development. I held my breath until the very last page. Nothing like a little murder mystery to spice up any quest. Highly recommend this book!
