I did receive a copy of Always my Home as a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. I have read Book 1, Forever My Home as well. Book #2, Always my Home can be read as a stand alone. We first meet Madi in Forever My Home, she's Adalyn's best friend, and this is her story. We do get glimpses into Adalyn and Rudd's lives in this book as well.Madi has a no strings attached friends with benefits arrangement with Rocco who owns the local bar. It's clear to see Rocco has been head over heals f [...]

We first meet Madi in Forever My Home, she's Adalyn's best friend, this is her story. It's great that we still get glimpses into Adalyn and Rudd's lives in this book.Madi has a no strings attached friends with benefits arrangement with Rocco who owns the local bar. It's clear to see Rocco has been head over heals for her for years, clear to everyone accept Madi! All of that is put on the back burner when she wins a place on a reality tv show. Now she has to pack her bags and move to New York to [...]

Always My HomeA fun read for me, I like Madi, she’s strong and knows what she wants out of life. She is accepted onto a television design show which means that she has to leave the place she’s always known and venture out in to the big bad world. She has some interesting moments in this book but this book is about her as person as much as it is about her as a partner in a relationship. I like how this book doesn’t shy away from that. It is slow burner for me and then felt like it was over b [...]

This is book two in the Aster Lake Seriesd it is Madi and Roccos story.Madi and Rocco are having a "Friends with Benefits" relationshiphe wants more and she wants to keep things as they are. Rocco gives her a week to decide what she wants to do, but before the week is up, she gets called as a contestant in a reality show. She goes off to New York before her week is up. While taping the show, Madi becomes close with another contestant. I loved watching Madi grow up ( in a sense ) , and realize wh [...]

I grew to really love Madi in Forever My Home. So, I was super excited to see that she got her own book! Madi is kind of quirky and I love it. It makes her character so much fun. Plus, she has a huge heart and you can't help but love her. This book is about Madi's first adventure leaving home. I really enjoyed all the details that went into her adventure and her interactions with a certain someone. The plot kept me guessing and even though I predicted one thing, there was another that surprised m [...]

Alora Kate has done it again. I love this book as much as Forever My Home. It is a continuation of the first book and introduced the characters in more depth. I love the way that I feel as if I am in the lives of the characters. I can't wait to read more of Madi, Rocco, Adalyn, Rudd, Isaac, Sam, Steph, and Ian. This is a definite must read but read Forever My Home first. It will help to understand who the characters are.

I waited for this book on pins and needles. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down! I love Madi and Rocco! Madi is a strong woman who knows what she wants and works hard to get it! Rocco is there waiting while she figures everything out. I loved their story and highly recommend it to everyone. It's a fun read that stays with you long after you finish!

Good readI haven't read book 1 in this collection. There were several places in this book where I found myself lost with characters and relationships. I was tripped up on minor grammatical omissions, but overall, this was a good story.

I loved this book as the first in this series. Madi and Rocco are just as easy to fall in love with as Rudd and Adalyn. It's defiantly a most read.

Loved itLoved this book as much as the first! Loved Madis bubbly personality in the first book and loved how in this one while she was still bubbly, she showed other sides to her personality. I do think at times her insecurities made her cause more problems for herself especially with Rocco. Rocco character was great and he proved to be pretty much a steady rock with what he felt for her. My only question would be if the host got caught?

This is such an amazing book. I absolutely adored the first book in this series, Forever My Home. Madi has always been my personal favorite character, now here we are! Madi is such a strong force to be reckoned with but Rocco is always up for the challenge. Madi travels away in future advancement leaving Rocco, friends, and family behind. Challenges, twists, and curveballs are all throughout the book. Once you start, you won’t stop!

I enjoyed reading this story about Madi. After her best friend, Adalyn gets kidnapped and ends up in a coma, Madi gets drunk and applies online for a reality tv show. She is accepted by default and ends up traveling to New York City. Will her new, budding relationship with Rocco survive this rapid escape? Will Madi continue to try and deny her true feelings for him? While I loved Forever My Home, Madi's story seems to just end. I wanted to know more about Madi and Roccoa~

    • Lisa says:

This was not my favourite - it was good but it felt an odd way to tell Madi and Rocco's story as the interactions between them were actually limited. It felt weak compared to the first in the series.

    • Alora Kate says:

The final book in the Aster Lake Series, from Madi and Rocco! Enjoy :)
