There are some technical difficulties with this book--perhaps it didn't have a great copy reader to catch errors. The story does give an interesting look at the Regatta in Venice and I am encouraged to read more books based on the main character. It was a bit of a chore to finish.

Although not as engaging as The Neapolitan Streak, Gondola is still a good read, quite complex and entertaining. Peroni is a bit less over-the-top here.
