      This 1 hr read short story about a very eclectic society of diverse beings and eras is in a metaphoric way is our society today. Not my cup of tea but seems quite fitting. I.e. the inner ugliness is no longer repressed by good sense and sensibility while we are happily having outlandish affairs and arrangements with our passel of 'internet of things'.Now gonna go sober up-tee hee.

      First, why isn't this any longer, I just couldn't get enough! It's amazing that author Kara Larson managed to create a unique world and populate it with memorable characters that leap from the pages and into the heart, all in a scant twenty-four pages. Some writers need entire trilogies to do that.Talk about the cure for paranormal romance burn-out! This totally imaginative world ups the ante on urban fantasy big time, and tosses in a healthy dose of man-love in the mix. Josh is great as the swo [...]
